Ms. Stephens has served as an LAE administrator since 2010. Her primary responsibilities include providing strategic direction in the school system, ensuring student safety, monitoring student achievement, encouraging parent involvement, assessing teaching methods, and hiring and evaluating staff. Prior to joining the LAE staff in 2009 as a 5th grade math teacher, Ms. Stephens taught in Dallas ISD for 8 years.

When Ms. Stephens is not enjoying the company of her two children, she’s reading, organizing, crafting, exercising, or mingling with close family and friends.
