Curriculum Based Assessments
Curriculum-based assessment (CBA) is a method of evaluating a student's performance and needs using the specific instructional materials being taught in the classroom. It involves ongoing data collection to monitor student learning. The primary benefit is that it accurately reflects a student's academic abilities in relation to the curriculum, helping to identify weaknesses and guide targeted interventions. Each instructional unit uses a Classroom-Based Assessment (CBA) at the end of each unit.
